Job Title: Registered Nurse Educator Manager

VNS Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Educator Manager to join our team. As a key member of our education department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing clinical education programs that foster high-quality care and promote evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver program-specific clinical education programs that meet the strategic objectives of our organization.
  • Collaborate with education staff across the enterprise to develop an annual training calendar and ensure a coordinated approach to ongoing programs.
  • Ensure clinical education programs align with the CMS Triple Aim framework and address patient-centered needs.
  • Identify and communicate protocols and standards of care for diverse patient populations and provide education intervention guidelines.
  • Manage implementation of clinical staff development programs, including orientation, in-services, training, and other learning activities.
  • Ensure all clinical education programs meet standards of nursing and social work practice, state and federal regulations, and VNS Health policies and procedures.
  • Review program-specific educational program outcomes and program evaluations to determine areas for improvement and make recommendations for change.
Requirements:
  • Current license and registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
  • Minimum four years' experience in a community-based or long-term home health setting, including at least two years with a primary focus on education and training.
  • Knowledge of healthcare delivery systems, patient care, care coordination, case management, and clinical processes.
  • Effective oral and written communication, presentation, analytical, coaching, and organizational skills.
