Job Summary

As a Respiratory Therapist RRT/CRT at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, you will play a critical role in assessing patients' pulmonary status and administering various modes of supportive or restorative therapy to restore normal cardio-pulmonary function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' pulmonary status and determine the appropriateness of orders
  • Administer various modes of supportive or restorative therapy, including medical gases or pharmacological agents
  • Conduct cardio-pulmonary diagnostic tests to determine the existence or extent of cardio-pulmonary disease
  • Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in each encounter with patients, families, visitors, and other employees
Requirements
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
  • Current mandatory certification in the state to practice Respiratory Therapy
  • Associate degree in applied science or equivalent
  • ACLS certification
