Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join our team as a Progressive Care Specialist, working evening shifts in Coos Bay, OR.

About the Role

As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, utilizing evidence-based practices and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with Oregon State Board of Nursing standards.
  • Teach and educate patients and their families on health-related topics, promoting self-care and empowerment.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, documenting all aspects of care provided.
Requirements
  • Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 2 years; this is a required qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in intermediate/progressive care; this is also a required qualification.
  • Consideration may be given to candidates with PCU/IMCU/Telemetry/Stepdown experience.
Certifications and Licenses
  • Current ACLS (AHA) certification is essential.
  • BLS (AHA) certification is also mandatory.
Licensure
  • Oregon state licensure is required.
Work Schedule

This role requires working every other weekend, with no on-call responsibilities.
