Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Duke Regional Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing evidence-based evaluation and treatment to diverse patient populations, utilizing your expertise in communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and administer speech language pathology evaluations and develop effective treatment plans
  • Provide quality service delivery techniques that meet patient needs, taking into account their age, social, cultural, educational, and vocational background
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote best patient care standards
  • Participate in peer review and performance improvement initiatives
  • Stay current in clinical practice through ongoing education and professional development
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university program
  • Previous medical setting experience preferred, although other relevant clinical experience considered
  • NC License in Speech Language Pathology issued by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists
