M/I Homes, a leading national homebuilder, offers a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Learning and Development Intern.

Job Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for creating engaging e-learning courses, managing the company's learning management system, Absorb, and coordinating work with a cross-functional committee of subject matter experts. This role will also involve assisting with the company-wide internship program, updating recruiting resources, and maintaining employee records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create interactive and informative e-learning courses for M/I Homes employees
  • Manage administrative tasks within the Absorb learning management system
  • Attend regular LMS Committee meetings to discuss project progress and share knowledge
  • Assist in coordinating course work completed by other subject matter experts
  • Support the company-wide internship program by planning events and collecting feedback from interns
  • Update recruiting resources, such as job descriptions and career fair materials, to ensure they are accurate and appealing
  • Help maintain employee records in a secure and organized manner
  • Contribute to various HR projects as needed

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants should possess a strong foundation in human resources and business administration, including a degree in Human Resource Management or Business. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is also essential. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.

Salary Range

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $45,000 and $60,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include competitive pay, opportunities for growth and development, and a dynamic work environment.
