Electrical Equipment Specialist

Sargent & Greenleaf, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Equipment Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and repairing complex electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
Key Responsibilities- Install and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems from technical blueprints.
- Perform general electrical maintenance, including inspecting transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
- Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code, state, and local building regulations.
- Perform circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
- Maintain good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems as well as various testing equipment.
- Oversee and supervise the quality of work for other employees to ensure that all tasks are performed correctly, efficiently, and effectively.
- Conduct and document regular facilities inspections.
- Check completed work by vendors and contractors.
- Recommend maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications.
- Forecast, allocate, and supervise the financial and physical resources of the facility management.
- Oversee building and grounds maintenance.
- Ensure that the facility is clean and maintained according to company policy and procedures.
- Prepare and schedule training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.
- Draft inspection reports to document inspection findings.
- Ensure that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.
- Inspect the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
- Electrician degree from a technical college and completion of electrician apprenticeship.
- Deep electrical system, power generation, blueprints, maintenance, and repair knowledge.
- Occasional work near moving mechanical parts.
- Must be a champion of the S&G corporate values of accountability, integrity, respect, teamwork, community, innovation, and leadership.
