We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Equipment Technical Specialist to join our Quality and Performance team at Colliers. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical leadership and support to key stakeholders, including training when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Successfully read and understand equipment service manuals, schematics, and specifications.
  • Effectively communicate with design professionals, General Contractors, restaurant support teams, facilities management teams, service providers, and manufacturers.
  • Provide technical support to key stakeholders, including training when necessary.
  • Effectively coach and encourage restaurant support teams on proper kitchen equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Provide support in leveraging manufacturers to define root causes with trending issues.
  • Transfer technical knowledge and information to non-technical people effectively in both written and verbal form.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma.
  • CFESA, CFC certifications.
  • Strong commercial kitchen equipment knowledge.
  • Experience/Knowledge in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and water treatment.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Teamwork aptitude.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Self-motivated for continuous improvement of personal skills and knowledge.
  • Ability to travel - 50%.
