Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Travel Medication Specialist to join our team in Illinois for a 26-week contract. As a key member of our healthcare facility, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Verification and Processing
  • Supervising Technicians and Pharmacy Staff
  • Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to optimize medication therapy
  • Pharmacokinetic Dosing & Therapeutic Drug Monitoring
  • IT: Utilizing Cerner and Pyxis Systems
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution
  • An active license to practice pharmacy in the state of Illinois
  • At least 1+ years of current hospital experience
  • Proficiency in utilizing Cerner and Pyxis systems
