Inventory Control Specialist

Job Description:

The successful candidate will serve as the key point of contact for all inventory-related matters, ensuring seamless operations and data integrity. This includes maintaining accurate records, performing cycle counts, and reconciling discrepancies. Strong analytical skills are required to investigate variances and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, files, and reports
  • Oversee and assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of the inventory control system
  • Train Team Members on inventory systems and procedures
  • Perform weekly and monthly physical inventory counts and enter results into the inventory control system
  • Process requisition invoices and match them with corresponding inventory
  • Track and reconcile inventory returns and credit memos
  • Review and post journal entries into the general ledger system
  • Investigate and report inventory variances to department heads
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement of databases, spreadsheets, and reports
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory control or a related field
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to respond calmly under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with Indiana Gaming regulations and company internal controls, policies, and procedures
Salary and Benefits:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
