As the Improving Operational Efficiency Manager, you will lead supply chain initiatives focused on improving manufacturing processes and quality of service while balancing financial objectives. This will involve conducting plant equipment capacity and reliability analysis to identify improvement initiatives aimed at increasing overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

To achieve this goal, you will build a manufacturing excellence plan to achieve world-class OEE performance using historical data, long-range production forecasts, available resources, capacity, and demand constraints. You will also partner cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to drive the execution of key initiatives captured on the manufacturing excellence roadmap.

In addition, you will train and support process owners and operators in the use of data analytics to drive short-term interval process adjustments and controls. You will also update and provide shop floor visibility to key process performance indicators, such as OEE loss reports by cause and data analytics tools.

Furthermore, you will promote a culture of continuous improvement across the organization, providing training to cross-functional teams on equipment effectiveness, data-driven decision making, short interval controls, lean principles, and best practices.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting. Alternatively, an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience may be considered.

You will also possess prior experience in global business settings with a proven ability to manage large cross-functional projects. Strong project management skills, including implementing and/or improving manufacturing execution systems and data analysis to drive overall equipment effectiveness, are essential.

Solid understanding of Supply Chain principles and best practices, passion for creative problem-solving, and excellent analytical skills with proven data visualization skills are required. Knowledge in applying continuous improvement techniques and analytical tools such as Lean Manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and Six Sigma (DMAIC) to achieve improved business results is highly desirable.

This is a full-time position based in Del Rey, CA, near Fresno, requiring onsite presence 5 days a week. The salary range for this position is $110,000-$115,000 per year, plus a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will depend on skills and experience.
