Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Nuclear Reactor Engineer to join our team at Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC. As a key member of our innovative team, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced nuclear reactor systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop reactor designs using various engineering tools and methods.
  • Provide technical support in the integration of microreactor systems and components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical problems and progress the eVinci microreactor design.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or recognized equivalent required.
  • 0-3 years of experience in nuclear reactor design and development.
  • Excellent analytical skills, critical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills including technical writing.
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects and tasks within an innovative development program.
