Job Summary

Data Governance Foundation Group Manager, SVP is a strategic professional responsible for overseeing, monitoring, and reporting of data-related controls within the HR function. This role ensures that HR data practices comply and align with Citi's Enterprise policies, and operated under a well-defined and articulated framework to successfully execute on data requirements and obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the implementation of the Control Framework, including Risk Control Policy, Control Standard, Issue Management Policy, Lesson Learned Policy, and Control Inventory.
  • Ensure the identification of issue root cause, partnering with control and process owners to recommend holistic corrective actions and improvements.
  • Direct teams in the implementation of the Lessons Learned Policy, including monitoring of control breaches and dissemination and learnings across other business units for process improvement.
  • Support management in the review and challenge process, within the FLUs, on the effective design and management of controls to mitigate risks as required by the Control Standards.
  • Assess, with management, the adherence to the MCA Standard through controls after the execution of a process (QA).
  • Take ownership to identify, assess, record, and respond to Operational and Compliance Risk events, ensuring these are captured accurately, timely, and in accordance with requirements.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in risk management and control.
  • Familiarity with risk models and control frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and diplomacy skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement control points and processes throughout the business.
Education

Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
