Job Description

This is a unique opportunity for a skilled business development professional to join our award-winning team at YUPRO Placement. As Business Development Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth by researching, identifying, and securing employer partnerships that yield revenue and headcount expansion. Your impact will be multifaceted, contributing to the skills-first hiring movement while fostering meaningful relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sales meetings, negotiate agreements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
  • Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new markets, identify opportunities, and build strong relationships with clients.
  • Analyze industry trends, competitor activity, and client needs to inform sales approaches and improve performance.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization and across client interactions.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in consultative sales, with a proven track record of success in cold outreach, warm outreach, needs analysis, solution selling, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, think critically, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A passion for promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, and a commitment to creating a positive impact in the community.

Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of $90,000, plus uncapped commissions.
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, STD, life insurance, mobile phone allowance, 401(k), and Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
  • 15 paid company holidays, 200 prorated hours PTO, and 40 prorated hours of sick time annually.

Compensation Estimate:

The estimated annual compensation for this role, based on industry standards and location, ranges from $120,000 to $150,000, depending on performance and experience. This includes a base salary of $90,000, plus potential commissions.
