About the Role:

The Business Operations Development Professional will play a critical role in supporting the shop management process and driving cost savings, customer retention, and metric-based initiatives. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring quality interactions and issue resolution.
  • Rental Department Coordination: Maximize rental utilization without compromising lease customers.
  • Sales Support: Partner with Sales staff on customer calls for new business and increased customer satisfaction.
  • Cost Management: Manage running costs and maintenance overheads, ensuring policy and processes are followed to optimize expenses.
  • Coordination and Communication: Collaborate with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales, and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Required
  • Customer Service Experience: One year or more preferred
  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills: Essential for effective customer interactions and departmental collaboration
  • Mechanical Skills: Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude required
  • PC Knowledge and Skills: Proficient in spreadsheet and word processing software packages
  • Business Finance Understanding: Basic understanding of business finance, controls, and metrics

Benefits and Compensation:

The compensation package offered includes a salary range of $55,000 - $57,000 per annum, plus eligibility for an annual bonus, commission, and long-term incentive plan based on performance. Comprehensive health and welfare benefits, including medical, prescription, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability insurance options, as well as paid time off for vacation, illness, bereavement, family and parental leave, and a tax-advantaged 401(k) retirement savings plan, are also available.
