We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's Surgical Hospital.

About the Role

As a Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered care in line with the department's standards and state regulations. You will collaborate with medical providers and the care team to provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' conditions during admission and scheduled shifts, identifying changes in status and reporting them promptly.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough documentation of care administration.
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in case of an unintended response.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse Diploma.
  • Experience in acute care settings is preferred.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on national averages for registered nurses in similar roles and locations.
