Job Summary:

The University of California, San Francisco is seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill the position of Senior Investigator in Computational Health Sciences. This is a full-time investigator position in the In-Residence series.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research in computational health sciences, molecular biology, genetics, and outcomes modeling.
  • Develop and manage the integrated biomarker database repository for large platform trials.
  • Identify genetic susceptibility markers for serious adverse events and early predictors of toxicity.
  • Teach computational techniques to postbaccalaureate students, postdoctoral students, and residents.
  • Mentor students and fellows in related projects.

Requirements:

  • PhD in a relevant field.
  • Background and training in computational health sciences, molecular biology, genetics, and outcomes modeling.
  • Domain knowledge in breast cancer, quality of life metrics, and related areas.
  • Expertise in big data analytics, visualizations, biomarker data repository development, clinical decision support, bioinformatics, clinical research informatics, machine learning, clinical trials, and related areas.
