Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor to join our team at the Defense Intelligence Agency. As a Senior Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting and leading performance audits in reviews of Federal programs and activities. You will develop impactful findings and recommendations to address highly complex or sensitive audits objectives that compel action by stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct and lead performance audits in reviews of Federal programs and activities.
  • Develop impactful findings and recommendations to address highly complex or sensitive audits objectives.
  • Evaluate progress against established goals, objectives, and timelines to proactively make necessary adjustments.
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills to compose and deliver responses to complex questions in a clear, concise, and organized manner.
  • Identify ways to facilitate cooperation and knowledge sharing across organizations to advance projects and goals.

Requirements
  • Must have a degree in accounting, auditing, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience that provided professional accounting knowledge.
  • Must have at least 4 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or a related field.
  • Must have a certificate as a Certified Public Accountant or a Certified Internal Auditor, obtained through written examination.
  • Must have experience conducting or overseeing financial statement and/or information technology audits.
