About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Correctional Mental Health Professional to join our team at TK Health.

Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of incarcerated individuals, providing mental health care and support in a challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate mental health needs of inmates, developing individualized treatment plans to address psychiatric emergencies and crises.
  • Collaborate with facility staff and medical professionals to ensure comprehensive care for inmates, including coordination of medication management services.
  • Promote linkages with community mental health agencies, other support services, and families to facilitate continuum of care and discharge planning.
  • Maintain the safety and security of staff and inmates, making clinical decisions that prioritize their well-being.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in social work, clinical psychology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Licensure as a Social Worker, Marriage/Family Therapist, Mental Health Counselor, or Licensed Professional Counselor.
