Overview

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team in Charlottesville, Virginia. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Speech Therapist Assistant to provide speech and language services to students with communication disorders. The ideal candidate will have a valid Virginia State SLP License and a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to diagnose communication disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and assessments
  • Provide speech and language therapy to students in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers and parents, to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions
  • Attend meetings and provide reports on student progress

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A valid Virginia State SLP License is required, and a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent is also required
  • Prior school-based experience is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
