Keokuk Homestore is seeking an experienced and organized Design & Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role will provide administrative support, design tasks, and bookkeeping services.

Job Description:

  • Administrative Support:
    • Correspond with vendors and customers via email and phone
    • Scanning, copying, filing, and ordering supplies
    • Track order delivery and notify customers of status updates
    • Send thank you notes to customers who have completed projects
  • Showroom Duties:
    • Keep material library updated and showroom tidy
    • Help stock shelves and update price tags
  • Design Tasks:
    • Accompany designer to customer homes for measurements and photos
    • Assist customers in the showroom when the designer is unavailable
    • Upload products into Design Files for presentation and pricing
  • Bookkeeping:
    • Invoice customers and record payments into software
    • Bank deposits and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field (preferred)
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to learn industry-specific software quickly
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
