Keokuk Homestore is seeking an experienced and organized Design & Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role will provide administrative support, design tasks, and bookkeeping services.
Job Description:
- Administrative Support:
- Correspond with vendors and customers via email and phone
- Scanning, copying, filing, and ordering supplies
- Track order delivery and notify customers of status updates
- Send thank you notes to customers who have completed projects
- Showroom Duties:
- Keep material library updated and showroom tidy
- Help stock shelves and update price tags
- Design Tasks:
- Accompany designer to customer homes for measurements and photos
- Assist customers in the showroom when the designer is unavailable
- Upload products into Design Files for presentation and pricing
- Bookkeeping:
- Invoice customers and record payments into software
- Bank deposits and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field (preferred)
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to learn industry-specific software quickly
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Benefits:
- $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience
