Salary: $36-$38 per hour based on experience
Job Description: As a Lead Vehicle Mechanic at Clean Harbors, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the shop, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and maintaining accurate service records. This role requires a strong background in diesel engine maintenance, repair, and diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Health and Safety: Ensuring a safe work environment by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
- Maintenance and Repair: Performing preventative maintenance, conducting inspections, troubleshooting, diagnosing failures & deficiencies & performing necessary corrections.
- Record Keeping: Completing daily checklists and submitting associated paperwork as required for tracking PM schedules.
- Safety Checks: Conducting annual vehicle inspections in accordance with provincial & federal laws.
Required Skills and Qualifications: 5-7 years of diesel engine experience, ability to work in team environment, and complete proficiency in diagnostic, repair, and maintenance of heavy-duty equipment.
