Job Summary:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacy team. In this dynamic and patient-centric environment, you will have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including reviewing and processing prescriptions

Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, and process prescriptions accurately

Provide excellent customer service, engaging with customers and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, adhering to company policies and procedures

Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in pharmacy operations and customer service

Requirements:

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English

Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours

Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment, or prior work experience with Walgreens

Prefer good math skills and computer skills

Prefer knowledge of store inventory control and PTCB certification
