Aquatics Coordinator Job Description

The Aquatics Coordinator is a key member of our team, responsible for providing leadership and expertise in aquatics programs. This role requires a strong understanding of aquatic safety and emergency response procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach swim lessons, water exercise, and other aquatic programs
  • Provide coverage during lifeguard breaks and ensure adequate staffing
  • Orient and train new lifeguards
  • Assist in developing and implementing new programs
  • Participate in special events and activities

Requirements:

  • Lifeguarding certification
  • Adult/Child/Infant CPR certification
  • 1 year of lifeguarding experience
  • 1 year of leadership experience
  • 2 years of swimming experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching certification
