Agricultural Specialist

Jan Resources LLC is seeking a skilled Herbicide Sprayer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing herbicide spraying operations with a focus on safety and effective application.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of company vehicles and spray trailers.
• Prepare spray tanks with water and accurately measure and add chemicals and dye.
• Assess sites using Google Earth and weather apps to ensure optimal spraying conditions.
• Apply herbicides to designated areas and monitor spraying techniques for thorough coverage.
• Record and document spraying activities, including gallons of chemical sprayed and site measurements.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Prior experience in agricultural spraying or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of herbicides and safe application methods.
• Ability to read maps and utilize technology for site measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
