Job Title: Preschool Chef

At The Learning Experience, we are seeking a skilled Preschool Chef to join our team. As a Preschool Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals to our young students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare healthy meals that meet state nutritional requirements
  • Manage kitchen inventory and place food orders within budget
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation procedures are followed
  • Collaborate with other staff members to provide a positive and supportive environment
  • Provide excellent customer service to parents and staff
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; ECE coursework preferred
  • Relevant experience in a licensed childcare facility kitchen or commercial kitchen
  • Food service/food handler's permit or license required
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude
