About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Implementation Consultant to join our team at State Street Corporation. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading financial services company, delivering next-generation infrastructure solutions using emerging technologies like AI and Blockchain.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation of Front, Middle, or Back Office Investment Management systems. They will analyze and evaluate customer requirements, providing product expertise and guidance throughout the project. The consultant must ensure that the solutions developed by Charles River meet the customer's business needs and prepare them to assume ownership and operate the solution after go-live.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or directly contribute to CRIMS implementations, analyzing and evaluating requirements while providing product expertise and guidance throughout the project.
  • Assist other members of the Professional Services team and develop best practices in the field.
  • Analyze and evaluate customer requirements to help Charles River respond to sales opportunities, preparing and delivering sales presentations.
  • Educate customers on methodologies and functionality provided by CRIMS, advising on best practices regarding implementation and operation.
  • Monitor and evaluate customer requirements to identify potential enhancements to Charles River solutions and document and communicate product improvements.
  • Contribute to software quality by clearly communicating defects to Client Support and Product Management.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with the implementation of mission-critical financial solutions, preferably in the financial industry.
  • Experience in implementing Front, Middle, or Back Office Investment Management systems, particularly post-trade workflows, trade confirmation via matching platforms, and security life cycle events.
  • Proficiency in SQL, understanding of multi-tier technical architectures, messaging systems, and relational database structures is a plus.
  • A strong record of customer service, with the ability to convey plans, issues, and concerns to clients and team members in a clear, logical, and concise manner.
  • Strong time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel, and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • A four-year degree in a business or technical field, such as Finance, Mathematical Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
