About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and compassionate professional to join our team as a Teacher. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing our research-backed curriculum, creating a safe and nurturing environment, and partnering with parents to provide the best possible care and education for their children.
You will work closely with our center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement. This is a unique chance to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners and their families while being part of a supportive and collaborative team.
Responsibilities- Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that meets the unique needs of each child.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes learning and growth.
- Partner with parents to provide the best possible care and education for their children.
- Support your center's success by working collaboratively with staff and leadership to achieve goals.
- Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
- Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
- Able to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
- Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
- Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or willingness to obtain.
- Physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency and lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
- Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children.
- See and hear well enough to keep children safe.
- Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.
