Medical Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical ICU team at UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital. As a critical care nurse, you will provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, utilizing your expertise and knowledge to ensure the highest level of care and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Respond to life-threatening situations, utilizing nursing standards and protocols for treatment.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health and wellness.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- 2+ years of recent cath lab or EP RN experience preferred.
- Call coverage required, typically 7 call shifts a month.
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant life support certification as determined at position level.
