Job Overview

Welcome Wagon is the leader in the new mover marketing industry, offering a unique opportunity to connect with local businesses and help them grow. As a Business Development Representative for Local Businesses, you will be responsible for identifying potential clients and presenting our comprehensive program, which includes Direct Mail, Digital Marketing, and Online Media programs.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in selling to small businesses or a related field, with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to function well in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead Generation – Identify potential clients through different sources, such as but not limited to cold calls, emails, networking, or door-pulling.
  • Sales Consultations – Present our comprehensive program, offering a customized marketing solution uniquely designed for each client.
  • Relationship Building – Cultivate strong connections with local businesses and stay in contact with customers, recommending new products and services that may interest them.
  • Market Insights – Stay informed about local trends and competition.
  • Effective Communication – Maintain accurate sales activity records, collaborate with your team leader, and create successful sales.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in selling to small businesses (B2B) or a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function well in fast-paced environments.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency: video conferencing (Zoom), Gmail, G Suite, Electronic signature software, and CRM use.
  • Valid Driver's License, Motor Vehicle Insurance and passing Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Background check.
