Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with one to three years of experience in pediatric intensive care to join our team. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to explore new cities, meet new people, and create lasting memories while contributing to the well-being of patients in need.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $120-$150 per hour, depending on experience and location. Benefits include competitive pay, paid time off after 1560 hours, medical, dental, and vision insurance, short-term disability, 401(k), and an aggressive refer-a-friend bonus program.
Job Responsibilities
As a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Communicating and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare team members
- Providing and coordinating patient care with other health team members
- Monitoring patients' responses to interventions and reporting outcomes
- Administering medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
- Maintaining cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
- Transporting patients as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- One to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
- Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending
