Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Solar Installer to join our growing team in Waco, TX.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a base hourly rate of $25-$30, plus panel pay, making the estimated annual salary range $50,000-$70,000.

Job Responsibilities

The Solar Installer will be responsible for working as a contributing member of the solar installation crew, assisting with:

  • Layout, assembly, and installation of solar arrays and mounting hardware
  • Electrical wiring of energy products
  • Thorough job site preparation and clean up
  • Providing exceptional customer service throughout the installation process
  • Performing trenching, concrete work, and equipment assembly
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

  • Experience with roof solar installation
  • General construction/framing experience (a plus)
  • Electrical experience (a plus)
  • Able to lift 50-100 pounds of weight frequently throughout the assigned workday
  • Ability to safely handle and maintain basic hand and power tools used for installation
  • Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on safety
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
  • Ability to work well with others in a supportive, collaborative team environment
  • Extremely reliable and great attention to detail
  • A valid Driver's License
  • Pass pre-employment screenings
Preferred Experience

Candidates with 1 year of experience in solar or electrical installation are preferred.
