As a Fleet Road Equipment Specialist at US Foods, Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet road equipment. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles, including tractors, trailers, thermo-king units, converter dollies, and maintenance vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of commercial diesel mechanic experience or equivalent. They should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to read and understand technical and service manuals, and strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with coworkers and drivers.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will be expected to maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance logs. Your ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs will be vital in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

As a Fleet Road Equipment Specialist at US Foods, Inc., you can expect a competitive salary of $42,800 per year, plus a $10,000 retention bonus. You will also receive an annual tool allowance, medical, dental, vision, 401K, life insurance benefits, and flexible scheduling options.
