Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist

This position is located at a prominent military medical center in the nation, providing medical care for various patient populations.
The Defense Health Agency is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (Ultrasound) to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all types of pelvic, abdominal, and other ultrasound examinations for adults and pediatric patients.
- Determine the condition(s) at issue and the procedures and equipment to best meet the needs of the individual case.
- Perform portable ultrasound studies throughout the hospital, including the Intensive/Coronary Care Units, operating rooms, cardiac catheterization laboratory, emergency room, and wards, as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Radiology Certification: Public Law 97-35 requires that persons who administer radiologic procedures meet the credentialing standards in 42 CFR Part 75.
- Specialized Experience: One year of experience operating a digital X-ray system to take x-ray images of patients; and utilizing sterile and safe radiology techniques to perform radiologic procedures.
