Job Title: Membership Director

At YMCA of Southwest Florida, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Membership Director to lead our membership team.

Job Summary:

The Membership Director will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract and retain members, as well as building strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement membership recruitment and retention strategies
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders
  • Oversee the membership department and ensure excellent customer service
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate membership staff
  • Manage membership budgets and financial reports
  • Coordinate membership events and promotions
  • Develop and maintain membership policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • One to two years of experience in a leadership or management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Certifications and Training:
  • CPR and First Aid Certifications
  • Annual Completion of YMCA Blood Borne Pathogens Training
  • Annual Completion of YMCA Child Sexual Abuse Prevention class
  • Completion of YMCA's Listen First Training
Salary:

$47,000 to $50,000 annually
