Maintenance Technician Assistant

Maintenance Technician Assistant is responsible for assisting maintenance with production equipment for a food processing plant. This role involves lubricating machinery, changing parts, defrosting machinery, and performing other routine maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, be able to lift up to 50lbs, and work well in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist maintenance team with equipment maintenance and repairs
* Perform routine lubrication and cleaning tasks
* Assist with equipment installations and upgrades
* Collaborate with production team to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
* 18 or older required
* Must be mechanically inclined
* Must have own tools
* Must have some experience in the maintenance department, preferably with a food manufacturer
* Must be able to follow directions and work well with others
* Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
* Have the ability to move through different work areas and climb on ramps, step stools, and ladders
* Must be willing to work in a variety of temperatures
