Job Title: Phlebotomist II

Job Summary:

Spectraforce Technologies is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist II to join our team. As a Phlebotomist II, you will be responsible for collecting quality blood samples from patients and preparing those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood samples from patients using a variety of techniques, including venipuncture and capillary collections.
  • Prepare blood samples for lab testing by labeling and packaging them according to established procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient information and specimen collection.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and other healthcare professionals.
  • Work independently with minimal on-site supervision and demonstrate organizational commitment and a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical training, such as medical assistant or paramedic training, preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred, required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
  • Three years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience.
