Phlebotomy Specialist

Job Summary:
Spectraforce Technologies is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist II to join our team. As a Phlebotomist II, you will be responsible for collecting quality blood samples from patients and preparing those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect blood samples from patients using a variety of techniques, including venipuncture and capillary collections.
- Prepare blood samples for lab testing by labeling and packaging them according to established procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient information and specimen collection.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and other healthcare professionals.
- Work independently with minimal on-site supervision and demonstrate organizational commitment and a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Medical training, such as medical assistant or paramedic training, preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred, required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
- Three years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
- Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
- Keyboard/data entry experience.
