Salary:$17.95-21.45 per hour, based on years of experience.

Job Description:
As a Medical Assistant at UNLV Health, you will work under the direction of physicians/providers, assisting with examinations and treatments while maintaining patient confidentiality. Your responsibilities will include delivering high-quality care and services, performing administrative tasks, and ensuring a smooth flow of patients through our clinics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed as a Medical Assistant, you will need:
  • A high school diploma or equivalency
  • Graduation from a Medical Assistant program required
  • One year of medical assisting experience in an ambulatory/clinical setting preferred
  • Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant Certification or Registration required or obtained within 90 days of employment
  • Basic computer literacy required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology required
  • Good communication and customer service skills required
