Job Summary

Pattern Energy Group is seeking a highly skilled Solar Design Professional to join our team. As a Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating ground mount, solar canopy, and energy storage designs in AutoCAD, producing construction document sets, electrical single-line diagrams, and project-specific construction detail drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with internal design and engineering staff to create designs that conform to NEC codes and permitting requirements.
  • Create canopy, ground mount, and new rooftop solar designs using AutoCAD.
  • Develop electrical single-line diagrams and project-specific construction detail drawings.
  • Collaborate with clients and third-party design professionals to ensure project success.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.
  • Two years of experience as a Design Engineer, Project Engineer, or a related solar design role.
  • NABCEP PV Installation Professional Certification.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage several project designs simultaneously.

What We Offer
  • Annual salary: $124,904.00 - $131,000.00.
  • Domestic travel required 15% of the time.
  • Remote work benefit available.
