AAC is seeking a Network Engineer to support a large enterprise IT contract for a government customer in North Carolina. This role is responsible for implementation, operations, and maintenance of technologies in an enterprise across multiple networks. Duties include updating to new technologies, tuning performance, and implementation of critical system patches. This infrastructure may include on-premises and cloud resources. This individual will work in a team environment to ensure mission needs are met for internal and external customers.

This role will be fully onsite in Durham, North Carolina and require eligibility to obtain a Public Trust.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, operate, and maintain technologies in an enterprise across multiple networks.

• Update to new technologies, tune performance, and implement critical system patches.

• Work in a team environment to ensure mission needs are met for internal and external customers.

Requirements:

• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology Management or Engineering or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting the installation, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of agency wide-area networks (WANs) and local-area networks (LANs).

• Experience assisting in the design and management of the WAN infrastructure and any processes related to the WAN.

• Experience providing Production Support of the Network, including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution client Networks.
