Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at River Forest Medical Campus. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic services on a daily basis, obtaining high-quality films under minimal supervision, and making professional decisions in accordance with clinical, fiscal, and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position, immobilize, and perform patient studies according to established protocols.
  • Formulate questions to determine patient history and process for quality outcome.
  • Evaluate scan results for consistent technical quality.
  • Prepare examination rooms and ensure adequate supplies and equipment.
  • Schedule patients and provide age-appropriate explanations of procedures.
  • Document data on appropriate forms and enter information into the computer.
  • Ensure patient, coworker, and property safety.
  • Participate in QA & I process.
Requirements
  • Completion of an Allied Health Education and AMA-approved program in Radiology.
  • Current ARRT, Mammography Certification, and IDNS licensure (or Registry Eligible with certification within one year of hire).
  • One year full-time general radiology and one year mammography experience, or related work scope.
  • CPR certification.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle information in a sensitive and tactful manner.
