San Francisco, California, United States Astranis Full time

Astranis is a pioneering company that aims to bridge the digital divide by connecting people worldwide who lack internet access.

We're achieving this by developing next-generation spacecraft that are smaller, more cost-effective, and capable of bringing the world online.

As a team, we've made significant progress, launching two satellites into orbit, signing commercial deals worth over $1 billion, raising $500 million from top investors, and recruiting a team of over 300 engineers.

We work out of our San Francisco office, which has a rich history dating back to the World Wars.

Our satellites operate from geostationary orbit, weigh 400 kg, and utilize a proprietary software-defined radio payload, connecting over two million people.

We're excited about the impact we'll have in the Philippines, Peru, Mexico, and other countries.

Backed by substantial funding and a passionate team, we offer a rewarding work environment where you'll learn and make a significant impact.

As our Technical Project Coordinator, you will support programs to ensure success and timely delivery.

This will include assisting program schedules, risk management, and key stakeholder interactions.

If you've already graduated, please apply to our Technical Project Associate position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build detailed project schedules using project management tools.
  • Support programmatic efforts from concept to completion.
  • Run risk management processes, including tracking burndown plans and coordinating risk closure.
  • Facilitate logistics to deliver a final product meeting program requirements.
  • Plan and organize internal program reviews.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a B.S. in computer science, aerospace engineering, or equivalent technical degree.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Leadership experience, space system experience, or hardware experience are a plus.

Base Pay: $29.00 per hour.

Astranis is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds.
