Marketing Regulatory Specialist

We are seeking a Marketing Regulatory Specialist to join our team. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to work with businesses across various industries, providing strategic legal guidance on innovative marketing initiatives while navigating complex regulatory frameworks.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping marketing strategies for clients, ensuring compliance with legal standards and supporting innovative campaigns that resonate with audiences.

  • Advise on marketing campaigns to ensure compliance with state, federal, and international laws.
  • Draft and negotiate agreements for ad agencies, influencers, endorsements, sponsorships, and online media buying.
  • Review marketing content for compliance with laws related to false advertising, claim substantiation, intellectual property, and publicity rights.
  • Counsel on legal compliance for contests, sweepstakes, price advertising, loyalty programs, and subscription models.
  • Represent clients in disputes involving false advertising, unfair competition, and National Advertising Division matters.

This position requires at least seven years of experience in marketing law, consumer protection law, or marketing transactions. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is also required. The ideal candidate should have exceptional legal writing, communication, and attention to detail skills. Experience in a large or medium law firm and hybrid work environment availability are preferred qualifications.
