Job Title:

C/C++ Developer

Key Responsibilities:

1) Programming Languages:
Proficiency in C/C++ and Go is required. Familiarity with other languages such as Python and PowerShell is beneficial.

2) Windows APIs:
Experience with Win32, COM, or UWP APIs for interacting with the Windows OS is necessary.

3) Windows Internals:
Strong understanding of Windows architecture and Windows kernel drivers is essential. Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, especially those related to Windows internals like memory leaks, application crashes, and performance bottlenecks, is required.

4) Development Tools:
Proficiency with Visual Studio, Git, and CI/CD tools for version control and deployment is necessary.

5) Nice to have:

Debugging:
Proficiency with ARM-specific debugging tools and emulators, like WinDbg for ARM or Visual Studios remote debugging for ARM devices, is beneficial.

Cross-Compilation:
Experience with cross-compiling x86 applications to ARM, which involves configuring compilers and build systems (e.g., MSBuild, CMake) to generate ARM-compatible binaries, is desirable.

Windows on ARM:
Familiarity with Windows 10/11 for ARM, including the Windows Subsystem for ARM and ARM64EC, which allows mixing x86 and ARM code in a single process, is beneficial.

Libraries and Dependencies:
Awareness of dependencies and external libraries that may need to be replaced or recompiled for ARM is necessary. Not all x86 libraries will work directly on ARM, so it's crucial to identify and resolve those issues.

Requirements:

Ability to diagnose issues in the operating system or application layers is essential.

Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, especially those related to Windows internals, is required.
