Pulmonary Medicine Associates is a leading medical practice in Northern California, dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients in the greater Sacramento area. We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Nurse Practitioner/Physician's Assistant to join our team of healthcare professionals.

Job Overview

We are currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to provide high-quality care to our patients with pulmonary and sleep disorders. This is a full-time exempt position, working Monday through Friday, daytime clinic hours. Training is provided, and competitive salary and excellent benefits package are offered.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in Advanced Practice Nursing (ARNP) and current unrestricted California NP license or a graduate from an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program and current California State Physician Assistant License, issued by Physician Assistant Board under the Medical Board of California. Additionally, a current DEA certificate without restriction and ACLS certification are required.

Responsibilities
  • Under the general supervision of a physician, provide care to new and follow-up patients using established and approved protocols as required by PMA policy.
  • Conduct comprehensive history and physical exam, perform diagnostic reasoning, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and write prescriptions.
  • Collaborate with the patient, family members, and other members of the healthcare team to review the plan of care and reach the best possible outcome.
  • Communicate effectively with referring physicians to facilitate ongoing care.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $160,000-$180,000, based on experience and qualifications.
