Medical Assistant

Responsibilities:- Assist designated providers in delivering high-quality patient care.
- Cross-train to cover various clinic areas, including laboratory and front desk duties.
- Prepare and maintain examination and treatment rooms, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
- Contribute to patient chart documentation, including lab results and visit notes.
- Administer injections and perform phlebotomy as needed, following proper training and protocols.
- Deliver patient education and coordinate with the fitness and nutrition advisor.
- Handle callbacks and patient portal responses promptly, addressing urgent matters on the same day.
- Assist providers with prescription refills and faxes in a timely manner.
- Attend scheduled departmental staff and clinical meetings.
- Adhere to all OnePeak Medical policies and procedures.
