Job Title: Mental Health Professional

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Professional to join our team at the North Central Correctional Institution in Gardner, MA.

Job Summary:

The Mental Health Professional will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide proactive and collaborative care to patients with a wide range of clinical presentations and acuity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide crisis stabilization, complete intakes and on-going evaluations, and provide consultation to in-house and community services.
  • Deliver individual and group treatment utilizing evidence-based modalities to patients with varying clinical needs.
  • Participate in monthly behavioral health calls and collaborate with the medical team to determine overall treatment for each individual.
  • Perform risk assessments of incarcerated individuals and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Assist in planning and implementing program goals and objectives.
  • Prepare necessary documentation, records, and reports.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree from an accredited program in social work, counseling, psychology, or a comparable field.
  • Minimum of one year internship/employment in a behavioral health capacity in a public or private agency or equivalent.
  • Satisfactory background investigation report.
