Financial Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Danaher Corporation. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing royalty revenue recognition, maintaining general ledger accounts, and supporting the global monthly and quarterly close process.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage royalty revenue recognition, ensuring accurate revenue recognition monthly and tracking payments for each contract.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
• Support the global monthly and quarterly close process, including assessing accruals, reviewing prepaid expenses, and analyzing account balances or expenses.
• Aid in collecting necessary documents and prepare files for filing German and UK VAT.
• Ensure adherence to relevant internal controls and corporate policies, and assist with internal and external audits.

Requirements

• Three-plus years of related work experience, preferably in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporation operating under Sarbanes-Oxley.
• Experience with large integrated financial systems, including Oracle/MAPICS, and demonstrated understanding of subledger and general ledger transactions.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated accounting, analytical, and leadership skills, with the ability to adapt to new situations and apply critical thinking to solve problems.
