We are currently recruiting dedicated and board-certified MDs or DOs in Occupational Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehab, Orthopedics, licensed Psychologists, and Psychiatrists to join our team as Expert Medical Evaluators. About the Role:
As an Expert Medical Evaluator, you will be responsible for conducting thorough medical evaluations and assessments in accordance with Ohio BWC guidelines and regulations. Your expertise will help ensure accurate and objective opinions in narrative reports to support claims adjudication and case management processes.
You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver high-quality services to our clients. To excel in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of medical regulations, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and assessments
- Evaluate permanent partial impairment ratings accurately and objectively using the 5th Edition AMA Guidelines
- Document findings and provide clear, concise reports within established timelines
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements:
- Licensed psychologist (PhD or PsyD) or active, unrestricted medical license in Ohio
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed
- Previous experience with IME/impairment rating exams preferred but not required
