Job Title: Accounting Assistant III


Job Description


As an Accounting Assistant III at Aston Carter, you will be responsible for maintaining the A/P relationship with vendors. This includes assigned vendor accounts, EDI invoice troublebox maintenance, credit memo review and research, shortage and/or pricing claims creation, vendor statement acquisition and final reconciliation, response to vendor calls/e-mails, proof of delivery acquisition and research, and maintaining a 48-hour turnaround on active invoice problems.


Responsibilities:

  • Assigned vendor accounts
  • EDI invoice troublebox maintenance
  • Credit memo review and research
  • Shortage and/or pricing claims creation
  • Vendor statement acquisition and final reconciliation
  • Response to vendor calls/e-mails
  • Proof of delivery acquisition and research
  • Maintaining a 48-hour turnaround on active invoice problems


Requirements:

  • 1 year of AP experience
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to continually prioritize changing responsibilities
