Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of two years' experience in acute care settings, preferably in cardiac or telemetry units. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care through the application of sound nursing procedures and practices.
  • Perform accurate and complete admission assessments within defined time frames.
  • Assess and document patient pain levels utilizing appropriate protocols.
  • Prioritize and document patient problems based on assessed needs/problems in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare team.
  • Monitor and document patient condition and effectiveness of care and/or interventions.
  • Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
  • Delegate appropriate components of the nursing care plan to other members of the nursing team.
  • Plan delivery of patient care in collaboration with other disciplines that promotes wellness and facilitates the discharge process.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a recognized course of study from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) certification required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) certification required.
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIH) completed within last year, required.
